Vera Sessions Caraway, age 84, of Bebe, died December 3, 2013 in Gonzales. She was born October 13, 1929 in Bebe to Albert Vernon Sessions and Fannie Vida (O’Neal) Sessions. Vera is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jessie Hugo Caraway; and her brother, Vernon Sessions. She is survived by her sister, Vida Tindle and husband Carl Sr., of Leesville; a nephew, Bobby Allen and wife Jane of Nixon; two sisters-in-law: Hilderine Edwards of Corpus Christi; Lois Sessions of Bellville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews that all loved “Aunt Vera”.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 6th from 5 PM – 7 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel of Nixon. The funeral service will be held at Finch Chapel on Saturday, Dec. 7th at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Marvin Miles and the Rev. Robert Ivey officiating. Burial will follow at the Leesville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
