Sidney F. Weber, age 69, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on January 13, 2014 in LaVernia after losing his battle with cancer. He was born on March 30, 1944 in Guadalupe County, Texas to Edgar Ernst Weber and Lydia Bertha (Clarner) Weber. Sidney was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lee Jay Weber; nephew, Christopher Friederick. He is survived by his children, Kelly Diane Johnson and husband John of Austin, Dr. Franklin Weber and wife Nessie of Canyon, Dr. Thomas C. Weber of New Braunfels; grandchildren, Benjamin Johnson, Avery Johnson, Chase Johnson; sister Joyce Friederick and husband Freddy of New Berlin; nephew, Cory Friederick and wife Tracy of LaVernia; numerous cousins, relatives and many loving friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in LaVernia.
