Ruby Lee Strey Pierdolla passed Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the age of 89 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Otto Strey Sr. and Alvina (Mattke) Strey, husband, Herbert Pierdolla; brothers, infant Otto Strey, Eugene Strey, Eddie Strey, Harold Strey, Bernie Strey, Eli Strey, Kenneth Strey. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Linda Cone and husband Ral Lyod Cone III; sister, Aileen McInvale; brothers, Wilfloyd Strey and wife Lillian, Otto Strey Jr. and wife Ann; sister-in-law, Mary Rose Strey, Adeline Pierdolla; aunt, Mary B. Mattke; numerous nieces and nephews. Ruby was employed at Witte’s BBQ for over 30 plus years. She was also active in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in La Vernia, and she enjoyed to go gambling. A visitation will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel.
