Robert Gregory Hyatt Sr., age 67, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on January 8, 2014. He was born on August 5, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to Pleas Benjamin Hyatt Jr. and Rosemary Louise (Gregory) Childs. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brother, A.L. Wells; sisters, Joan Kitts and Phyllis Walters. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Cheryl Hyatt; children, Clayton Hyatt and wife Diana, Roxanne Hyatt Maxwell and husband Newt Jr., Dallas Hyatt Bertasz and husband Michael, Robert Hyatt Jr. and wife Nicole, Stephanie Upton Flores and husband Roy, Jennifer Upton, and Justin Robert Hyatt; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; siblings, Edwin A. Wells, Linda S. Riley, Helen Hunt, P.B. Hyatt III, Joyce L. White, Lee Ann Espinola, Rick L. Calahan, Jackie L. Hallada, and Mickey L. Hyatt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM prior to service on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Finch Funeral Chapel- Nixon.
