I hadn't seen Dick in 50-55 years since we were boyhood friends. In Mar of 2018 he got in touch with us and said he and Debbie would be making a swing thru Montana for a visit. So in May 2018 they were here in Montana. We had a real good time and a nice visit, telling stories of when we were young, wild and free. While he was here he asked if we would take them down to this high dollar western ranch wear store here in Billings, I said "sure, I know exactly where it is". So we wandered down there found they were having a going out of business inventory sale. Anyway Dick got to looking at cowboy boots and found their inventory on Lucchese were marked way down, he told me, "you ain't lived till you've had a pair Lucchese's". So with his prompting I left there with a new pair a boots and a great memory of my friend and his eagerness to share the best things in life with his friends. My friend is gone now and that saddens me but I got that memory of us when we were us when we were boyhood friends together and those boots. I will carry those around for as long as I'm alive and a fine memory they are.
