Phyllis H. Groff, age 90, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away on September 26, 2013. She was born on July 12, 1923 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Leo Betz and Edyth (Ohman) Betz. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Cornish, daughter, Margaret Rose Groff and daughter-in-law, Joy Groff. She is survived by her children, Michael Groff, Patrick Groff and wife Jodi, Mary Bordner and husband Clay, Steven Groff and wife Debbie, John Groff, Christopher Groff, Edward Groff and wife Jessica; Grandchildren, Michael Groff Jr., Marie Firkey, Eric Groff, Amanda Lopez, Shira Groff, Elliot Groff, Avi Groff, Wendy Pruitt, Tiffany Huegele, Emily Younce, Justin Groff, Drew Groff, Jennifer McKeown , Adam Groff, Miles Groff, Trinity Groff, 22 Great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many loving family friends.
