Obituary for Patricia Robinson

Patricia A. Robinson of Seguin, Texas went to be with her Lord and savior on April 16, 2013; surrounded by family and friends. She was born on December 24, 1942 in Freeport, Illinois to Benjamin and Ruth Robinson. Pat graduated from Freeport High School in 1961 and moved to East Dubuque, Illinois. She worked at RS Bacon Veneer and Hruska Studio in Dubuque Iowa. Pat joined the United States Womens Army Corps on August 16, 1967, serving as a medic until retiring in 1980 at Fort Sam Houston. Pat had a great love for children and horses. She established and operated “Robbies Rustlers” for many years, where she reached out to terminally ill children by assisting them in forgetting their pain by bringing them to her ranch to ride horses and just enjoy being a child. Pat was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, the American Pinto Horse Association and the South Texas Trail Riders. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ronald Robinson, Gerald Robinson, special dad Melvin Erner and many of her “Robbies Rustler” family. Pat is survived by her brother, Edward Robinson of Council Hill, Illinois; sister, Cathy Jo Robinson of East Dubuque, Illinois; 9 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; her friend Betty French of Seguin and special family friends Jean, Ronnie, Madonna, Melanie, Danny, and Michelle Erner in Illinois.

Graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
