Marcella “Nana” Garner, age 71, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in Floresville. Marcella was born July 10, 1942 to Frank and Thelma (Campbell) Cobb in California. Her parents, husband, Craig Garner and brothers, Robert and Charles Cobb, precede her in death. Marcella is survived by her children, Kevin Garner and wife Janice, Rebecca Pennartz and husband Brian, Jason Garner and wife Katie; nephews, Ron Cobb and wife Inez, Gregory Cobb and wife Lisa, Dennis Cobb and wife Robin, Richard Garner ; niece, Renee Cobb Cartenela and husband Steve; grandchildren, Teriawna Deagen and husband Byron, Taira Alderman and Cody Myrick, Kelson Alderman, Tara and Roby Pennartz, Kelly Garner, D. J. Garner and Brandon Hulsey; great-grandchildren, J’len Deagen, Jaret Deagen, and Hanna Deagen; Numerous other family and friends. A visitation will be held from 2:30pm to 3:30pm on Saturday, December 21, at Finch Funeral Chapel, Stockdale.
