Lorene West, age 79, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. Lorene was born February 6, 1934 in Seguin, TX to Pleas and Minnie Pearl (Willeford) Elder. Lorene is survived by her sons Stanley Lee West and wife Kathryn of San Antonio, TX, Leonard R. West Jr. and wife Susan of Adkins and Richard L. West and wife Nina of St. Hedwig, TX; daughters Barbara Kossaeth and husband Mark of St. Hedwig, TX, and Charlotte West San Antonio, TX; seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sisters Margie Rice of Leesville and Dorene Evans and husband Richard of Brady, TX; brothers Donald Elder and wife Christine of Leesville, TX and John Ben Elder of Seymour, TX; numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 9, 2014, from 5pm to 8pm at Finch Funeral Chapel, Nixon.
