Linda Marie Peikert, age 66, of Nixon, died Wednesday, October 23, 2008 in Victoria. She was born in Matagorda County on November 19, 1941 to Rex and Mary Catherine Morris Cooper.
She is survived by her children: James Lusch, of La Vernia; Lawrence Lee Peikert, Jr., of San Antonio; Penny Peikert, of San Antonio; Howard A. Peikert, of Nixon; her former husband, Lawrence Lee Peikert, of Houston; her grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
