Our Shepherd has Gone Home

Jose A. Gutierrez, was born April 29, 1940 in San Antonio, TX, and died April 29, 2013 at his home near Nixon. He is survived by his wife, Donna F. Gutierrez; sisters: Vera and Sophia; a brother, Paul; 7 children; 4 step-children; 33 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and a spiritual father of many. He was a pastor for over 35 years and loved the Lord immensely. He served Him with all his heart. Jose was a very loving and caring man, enjoyed being a father and grandpa, and he loved to laugh and celebrate life. He was a generous person, kind hearted with a good soul. He always liked to be around family and friends, and was excited to be a preacher. He was on fire for the Lord and never ashamed to tell someone about Jesus. We are so thankful to God that He allowed us to be in the presence of a great man of God.

We love & miss you, but will see you in Heaven someday!
