Condolence: Even though Mr. Karnei always was a quiet man, he always had a smile and a greeting when he saw me. He will be missed. My heart and prayers go to his family.

I can still remember Jim trying to educate me in the fine art of growing tomatoes in his greenhouse. My, what memories we have. A gift from God. Condolence: We are saddened by your loss.

Sandra and I, along with Winona Luedeke and
Eddie Ruth Schroeder Oberhoff, were privileged to have visited Jim and Harriet
at Goliad in late May.

Winona says many of the folks who knew you all have either passed away or are in hospitals at the present time.

Having left Needville in the late 1950s, I
did not have the pleasure of getting to know
you all better.
