Guida “Jo” Tredway, age 95, of LaVernia, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2013. She was born on September 18, 1918 in Atlanta, Kansas to Lafayette and Amanda M. (Mabie) Stice. Jo was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald G. Tredway; son-in-law, Sonny Weiss; 3 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Rita Nofsinger and husband Bill of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Karen Weiss of LaVernia, Texas, Tonja Vickers and husband Jimmy of Zachary, Louisiana; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel- La Vernia, Texas.
