George L. Spear of Adkins, age 88 (born January 17, 1918 in Gonzales County,TX) passed away October 4, 2006. Preceded in death by his parents Edmound Sharp & Annie Duke Spear; wife, Ola Mae “Diddie” Spear and brother, Clayton Spear. He is survived by his sister, Wilma Lee Wood of San Antonio; sister-in-law, Opal Tubbs of Vacaville,CA and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place Saturday from 9AM-10AM at Finch Funeral Chapel.
