Frank H. Ortiz, age 74, of LaVernia, Texas passed away on March 31, 2013. He was born on September 7, 1938 in Adkins, Texas to Felix Ortiz and Augustina Hernandez. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Alberto “Beto” Ortiz. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Tomasa “Tommie” Ortiz of LaVernia; children, Frank Adam Ortiz and wife Cindy of LaVernia, David Anthony Ortiz and wife Sarah of New Braunfels; grandchildren, Amanda Michelle Vasquez and husband Frank, Adrian Adam Ortiz, Leticia Isabel Ortiz, Liliana Sofia Ortiz, Maya Elizabeth Ortiz, Carlie Jane Stratemann, Carolyn Jean Stratemann; great grandchildren, Landon Adam Herald, Jacob Anthony Vasquez, Aryana Vasquez, Frankie Vasquez; brother, Tomas Ortiz and wife Norma of Sinton; sister, Mary Gutierrez; sister-in-law, Eugenia Ortiz; brother-in-law, Alex Ojeda and wife Josie; numerous nieces, nephews and many loving friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in LaVernia.
