Audra Janice Joiner was born April 21, 1932 and she went to be with the Lord and meet up with her Bo Jack on June 4, 2013.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Maggie Brower; husband JW “BO” Joiner; by two sons, and infant Alvin Lee Joiner; and Alan Kent Joiner.
She is survived by her children Barbara J. Cowey (Albert), Diana K. Blackburn (James), Jay Joiner (Laura).
Grandchildren: Christopher A. Joiner (Rose), Clifton L. Cowey (Sheryl), Darrell W. Cowey (Susan), Eric A. Cowey (Andrea), Fairah L. Solomon (Heath), Melissa D. Blackburn, Max W. Blackburn (Renee), Hannah J. Blackburn, Emily R. Blackburn, Jennifer L. Joiner, Joshua W. Joiner (Casey), Jessica D. Shelton (Jaime), Jaelyn N. Joiner, Jaclyn D. Joiner and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Janice had many titles and was best known as Mom, Granny, Me-Maw, Nanny, and Great-Gran. A few things her children would say about her is that she was “One of a Kind”, that she would always say “Can’t never could” and she was as much Sassy as she was kind hearted. She was the most amazing chef (her meals were always enjoyed and almost nothing left because it was always so good) and seamstress; she could fix or sew or crochet anything. All of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren love her dearly and there was not one thing they would not have done for her. Our lives have been blessed and are better because she was in it.

A memorial graveside service is being held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10 AM at Sutherland Springs Cemetery.
