Adelheid Konrad Pfeifer, 98, of Nordheim, TX died Sept. 30, 2011 at S.P.J.S.T. Nursing Home in Taylor, TX. She was born Dec. 18, 1912 in Westhoff, TX to the late Friedrich and Elizabeth Uhl Konrad. She married Alfred Pfeifer on Dec. 10, 1935.
She is survived by her daugters Bernice Croft and husband Bearl of Round Rock and Phyllis Mayers and husband Ed of Taylor; daughter-in-law Caroline Pfeifer of Nordheim; son-in-law William King of Corpus Christi. She had numerous grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband of 66 years Alfred Pfeifer, son Carlton Pfeifer and daughter Iva King.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday Oct. 3, 2011 at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 am Tuesday Oct. 4, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nordheim with interment to follow at Nordheim Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William King Jr,Robert King, Ronnie King, Cody Frasier, Byron Pfeifer, Brandon Test and Bradley Test.
Memorials can be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
