Emmrence Lyssy Dugi passed away February 16, 2015, at the age of 77 years. She was born in Falls City, Texas on September 29, 1937, to Sylvester and Faustina (Dziuk) Lyssy. Emmrence was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Dugi; brothers and sisters, Wilfred Lyssy, Gabriel Lyssy, Valeria Rapstine, Flavia Moczygemba, Evangeline Dugi, and Sylvia Zaiontz. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, August Dugi; children, Barbara Waclawczyk and husband Timothy of Poth, Germaine “Gerri” Rakowitz and husband Alfred of St. Hedwig, Thomas Dugi and wife Teri of Stockdale, Bernadette “Bonnie” Jaskinia and husband Timothy of Poth, and Peter Paul Dugi of Kosciusko; grandchildren, James Waclawczyk, Roxanne Mayhew, Andrew Rakowitz, Kristi Pape, Heather Yosko, Jonathan Dugi, and Bryant Dugi; great-grandchildren, Brooke Mayhew, Maddison Mayhew, Hayden Pape, Brennen Pape, and Preston Waclawczyk; sister, Janell Miller of San Antonio; sisters-in-law, Magdalene Kowalik of San Antonio and Antoinette Moczygemba of San Antonio; brother-in-law, Chris Zaiontz of San Antonio; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. A visitation will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2015 beginning at 6PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00PM at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Kosciusko, Texas.
