Mary Marie W. Brietzke, age 90 (born September 11, 1918 in Clarksville, TX), passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, in New Berlin. Mary Marie was born Sept. 11, 1918, to John I. and Tobitha Lou (Adams) Warren in Clarksville. She attended Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek and was a member of the Ruth Circle there. Her parents, husband, Elmer A. Brietzke, Sr., daughter, Donna Lee Brietzke, infant son, three brothers and three sisters precede her in death. She is survived by her sons, Elmer A. Brietzke, Jr. of Austin and Robert O. Brietzke and wife Gail of La Vernia; daughters, Mary Katherine Brietzke and Elnora Brietzke Henz and husband Kenneth, all of La Vernia; grandchildren, Brian Brietzke of Plano, Evan Brietzke and wife Shiley of Houston, Susannah Lee Chbeir and husband Tony and Janinne Kay Tackett and husband Shane, all of San Antonio; brothers, Lecil Warren and wife Sarah of Del Rio and Richard Warren and wife June of Big Springs; sister, Birdie May Strickland of Lemon Grove, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family. A visitation with the family will be held from 6pm to 8pm, Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia.
