Aileen (Strey) McInvale

Aileen (Strey) McInvale, age 86 passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in New Braunfels, TX. She was born in La Vernia, TX on July 25, 1928 to Otto Fritz and Alvina Marie (Mattke) Strey. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Morrison of La Vernia, TX and Rebecca Galvan of New Braunfels, TX; grandchildren Shane Morrison, Brandi Morrison-Wigley, Chad Fisher, and Rusty Fisher; great-grandchildren, Ravyn Wigley, Landyn Wigley, Kase Morrison, Kaden Morrison, Josephine Fisher, Nova Fisher, Jaxon Ray Fisher, Abigail Fisher and Riley Fisher; brothers, Willie Strey and Otto Strey Jr.; numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Aileen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jewell (Joe) McInvale; her sister, Ruby Lee Pierdolla; brothers, Kenneth Strey, Harold Strey, Bernie Strey, Eddie Strey, Eugene Strey, Otto Strey, Eli Strey and grandson Troy Morrison. Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, TX. The funeral service will be Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in La Vernia, TX. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in La Vernia, TX. Pallbearers will be Shane Morrison, Chad Fisher, Rusty Fisher, Danny Witte, Randy Witte and Pat Strey. The Reverend Dr. Robert M. Palan will be officiating.
