Virginia Marie Kruciak, age 94, passed away on October 14, 2015 in La Vernia, TX. She was born on January 23, 1921 in San Antonio, TX to Teofil and Eulalia C. (Kiolbassa) Rakowitz. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; by her husbands Jerome Kruciak and Elden Yarbor; her son Terry Kruciak; and granddaughter Brandy Nichol Kruciak. She is survived by sons Ronald Gregurek, Ricky Kruciak, Ray A. Kruciak and wife Kathy; fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, TX. The Rosary is to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in La Vernia. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. There will be a reception and meal provided at C of C Hall in La Vernia following interment. Memorial contributions may be made in Virginia’s honor with Catholic Relief Services, and Disabled American Vets. The family of Virginia Kruciak would like to extend a special thank you to Country Care Manor Administration and Staff, as well as Heart to Heart Hospice.
