Obituary for Virginia R. Badillo (Badillo)

Virginia R. Badillo, age 77, of Nixon, passed away January 5, 2016 in Seguin. She was born on December 9, 1938 in Gillett, Texas. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Virginia (Ruiz) Badillo; her husband, Juan M. Lopez, Sr.; a son, Juan Lopez, Jr.; and two sisters: Janie Cisneros and Paula Sanchez. She is survived by two sons: Ricky Lopez and wife Diana of Seguin; Tommy Lopez of Nixon; five daughters: Virginia Ann Lopez of Nixon; Ruby Martinez and husband Henry of Smiley; Sandra Lopez of McQueeney; Maria McMahon of Seguin; Yolanda Lopez Mulkey and husband Willie E. of Fort Worth; four sisters: Lilly Sanchez and husband Joe of Ralls, TX; Lala Sanchez of Plainview, TX; Felipa Bentura of Beeville; Eusebia Almaguer of Smiley; two brothers: Johnny Cisneros of Lubbock; Adam Cisneros of Dimmit, TX; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 10th from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon with a Rosary recited by Deacon John Moreno at 6:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held Monday, Jan. 11th at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon with Father Ouseph Kuriakose officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be to the charity of one’s choice.
