Vaughn Strickland, 72, of La Vernia, Texas passed away on November 27, 2019. Vaughn was born on July 2, 1947 in De Kalb, Texas to Milton Strickland and Ruth (Turner) Strickland, whom have preceded him in death along with his sister, Mary Snow and brothers, Hershel Strickland and Doug Swink. Vaughn is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gayle Strickland; children, Jeffrey Vaughn Strickland, James Michael Strickland (Kerry Ann Cannedy), Kenneth Bryan Strickland (Jason Michael Czerwinski); grandchildren, Jensen Lynn Strickland and Jerah Stanford; great-grandchild, Carsen Channing McGregor; brother, Charles Strickland (DeAnn); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
