Tommie Doris Edwards entered into eternal rest on September 26, 2021, at the age of 97. She was born May 21, 1924 in Leming, Texas, to Thomas Jefferson Keith and Martha Fredona (Suggs) Keith.

Tommie is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene Edwards, Sr.; son, Charles Eugene Edwards, Jr.; parents; siblings, Ralph Keith, Marian Holloway, June Keith Cheser, Earl Keith, Merton Keith.

She is survived by her brother, Arthur K. Keith; children, Roger Edwards (Susan), Michael Thomas Edwards (Betty), Deborah Edwards Adams; daughter-in-law, Jane Ann Edwards; grandchildren, Shawn Edwards (Lee), Shannan Copeland (Zane), David Edwards (Linda), Jennifer Edwards Homeyer (Ty), Michael Edwards (Katie), Marcie Edwards Jenkins (Jason), Melissa Adams Cannon; great-grandchildren, Brandon Edwards, Mitchell Edwards, Chelsea Edwards Ogden, Ryan Edwards, Halston Homeyer, Connor Homeyer, Kaelyn Homeyer, Laney Jenkins, Rylie Jenkins, Morgan Edwards, Harper Edwards, Carley Cannon, Virgil Cannon, Haley Edwards, Clayton Edwards, Isabel Copeland; great-great-grandchildren, Jaxon Ogden, Charlie Ogden; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers for Tommie will be David Edwards, Michael Edwards, Halston Homeyer, Connor Homeyer, Clayton Edwards, Mitchell Edwards, Jason Jenkins, Ty Homeyer. Honorary pallbearer will be Zane Copeland.

A visitation with family and friends will be held at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia, Friday, October 8, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
