Obituary for Theodore Arthur "Ted" Wesley Jr.

Theodore Arthur "Ted" Wesley Jr. 73 of Stockdale passed away March 21, 2019. He was born in Springfield, MA on September 28, 1945 to the late Theodore Arthur Wesley, Sr. and Helen T. Broderick Wesley.

Proceeded in death by his parents, first wife Kathleen "Kate" Casey Wesley and infant brother.

He started working at age 13 in the tobacco fields, age 16 Columbia Bike Co and became the youngest manager. He moved to Texas at the age of 18 and started work in the grocery industry. He worked for HEB, Kroger and Albertsons. He moved into merchandising with Flint Brown Moore and Flint Luke Soules and Quaker. Setting stores sales display all was his passion. He put all his heart and soul into his work.

In retirement he dearly loved spending time with his grandkids, fishing, building things, tractor rides, time at the parks. He had a great passion for music and had album collections of every genre and artist. Working on cars was another passion.

Active member of the First Baptist Sutherland Springs Church . He taught Sunday School, youth leader and Deacon. Moved membership to First Baptist Church Floresville where he was Sunday School teacher, Deacon and Usher.

Ted is survived by his loving wife Sharron A. Wesley; children, Ricky L. Wesley(Katie) and Crystal Kidd(Rob " James"); Grandchildren, Christopher, Jake, Matthew, Nathaniel, Tyler and Dylan; Carl Wesley(Joyce); sister, Linda Blaha (Mark); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial Services are April 7, 2019 at 2 pm at Floresville First Baptist Church
