SMSGT William D. Kenney, USAF (Ret.) entered eternal rest, surrounded by his loving family, on August 20, 2019 at the age of 73. He was born on January 23, 1946 in San Francisco, CA to William G. and Margaret (Sherry) Kenney, who both preceded him in death. William honorably served and retired from the United States Air Force, after 23 years. He continued to work for Civil Service serving over 20 years. William was an Original Board Member, Past President, and a consultant for the Wilson County Emergency Service District #2. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Cynthia Kenney; sons, David Kenney (Stephanie) and Steven Kenney (Katherine); 9 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; brothers, Clifford Kenney (Nancy) and James Kenney (Julie); numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends and colleagues.
