Shirley Ann Brown entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2021 at the age of 84. She was born on April 24, 1937 in Hanover, Connecticut to Harold and Elsie Chartier (Coombs). Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie “J.D.” Brown. She is survived by her children, Hope Thurmond (Derek), Dawn Brown, Cindy Blacketer (Steven), John Brown; grandchildren, Elysia Finch, Adam Thurmond, Emily Stoddard, Thera Hope (Trent) Thurmond, Shirnell Gassner, Joseph Brown; great-grandchildren, McKenley, Sarah, Reagan, Benjamin, Hugo Lee, Hannah, Nola Faye, Amelia; nieces and nephews from Crystal Springs, Mississippi.
A visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Finch Funeral Chapel- La Vernia.
