Obituary for Shaun Brandon Kowalik

Shaun Brandon Kowalik went to be with the Lord after a brave battle with cancer on March 28, 2024. He was born on August 29, 1980, in San Antonio, Texas to Felix Frank “Sonny” Kowalik, III and Patricia Ann (Richter) Telle.

Shaun loved his family with his whole heart. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. His passion was his John Deere tractor collection which he spent a lifetime building. One could also find him, more often than not, at Kosciusko Hall behind the scenes making sure the hall was well cared for. His love of music brought many concerts to the hall for the community.

Shaun is survived by his wife, Jeannie Cielencki Kowalik; daughters, Tynley and Ashlyn; father, Felix “Sonny” Kowalik, III; mother, Patricia Telle (Gerry); brother,Todd Kowalik; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Aaron Kowalik and Steven Kowalik; paternal grandparents, Felix, Jr. and Bernice Kowalik; and maternal grandparents, Paul and Maggie Richter, Sr.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024 at St, Ann Catholic Church, Kosciusko, and the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM that same evening at the church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Kosciusko. Father Pius Ezeigbo will officiate the service.
