Obituary for Sandra Stone (Hart)
Sandra Hart Stone of New Braunfels, 71, died April 16, 2024, after struggling with a long illness.
Sandie is survived by husband, Robert of New Braunfels, daughter and son-in-law, Brea and Jason Jones of La Vernia, granddaughters, Kendall and Kelsey Jones, also of La Vernia, uncle, Robert Shuffield of Dallas and many cousins. She is preceded in death by parents, Daniel and Dorothy Hart and grandson Jacob Jones.
Sandie was a 1976 graduate of East Texas State University, Commerce, and a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She was a loving mother, Nana, and wife. Her wit was evident from the first day of her marriage to Robert until her passing 39 years later. She excelled at cooking and shared her successful meals and recipes with friends and family. She always kept life interesting!
Sandie's professional life included account analyst, bookkeeper, and accountant / HR representative. She dabbled in acting early in her career. She and Robert were blessed to be able to travel to some amazing places although many destinations remained on their list of desired travels.
She was deeply loved and will be missed until we meet again.
A graveside service will be held at Post Oak Community Cemetery, 655 Hartfield Road, Seguin, Texas, at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2024. Pastor Erin Weaver will conduct the service.
