Ruby L Owens, 95, of Kenedy, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019. She was born August 2, 1924, in Yorktown to the late Helmuth Geffert and Octavia Cravey Geffert.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Owens; son, Lester James Cox; infant daughter, Linda Cox; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Russell Cox (Pamela) and Rebecca Cox; 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
On Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Kenedy City Cemetery, there will be a visitation at 9:30am and a graveside service at 10:00am with Rev Walter Schievelbein officiating.
