Roosevelt Rossett (Papi), 91, passed away on November 25, 2019, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born July 20, 1928, in Karnes City, Texas to the late Concepcion and Jose Rossett. Roosevelt began a beautiful, loving marriage with Eloisa Elizardo in 1950. He was a carpenter and worked at the Coca-Cola Company in Karnes City.

Roosevelt is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eloisa Elizardo Rossett; brothers, Willie Rossett, Robert Rossett, Oscar Rossett; sisters, Diana Castenada and Alena Garza.

He is survived by his children, Roosevelt Rossett, Jr of Lubbock, Robert Rossett of Lubbock, Jean Fulford of Lubbock, Rosaline Perez of Lubbock, Martha Martinez of Kenedy, Mary Martinez of Kenedy and Betty Clarner of Beeville; and stepdaughter, Belen Acosta. He was also blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 4-8pm Friday, November 29, 2019, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral service is 2:00pm, Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.
