Robert T. “Bob” Wendel entered eternal rest on August 5, 2019, at his home in Yoakum at the age of 69. He was born on October 20, 1949, in Yoakum, Texas to Travis W. and Alice Lowrance Wendel. Bob is survived by his adopted family: Kristy and Dale Muehlstein and their children, Bryleigh, Sean and Krystian, and Patricia and Wade Gordon and their children, Kara and Kyle and their families.
A visitation was held Wednesday, August 7, 2019, from 5-7 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon. A private graveside service was held Thursday, August 8, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Yoakum Restland Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers were Dale Muehlstein, Sean Romero, Eddie Romero, Felix Perez, John Withers DVM, and Justin Ebner. Honorary Pallbearers were Conrad Nichols, Charles White, Roy Gene Whitehead, Lynn Talley and the late Gary Finch.
