Robert “Bob” Pope went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2021 at the age of 79. He was born December 25, 1941 in El Paso, Texas to Jessie Pope, Sr. and Minnie Klein Pope.
Bob was a truck driver for many years for AAFES and Albertsons. In his spare time, he took his family fishing, bowling and gambling. He will be dearly missed by his loving family, and especially his furry friend Gucci
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Catherine Doege Pope; children, Steven Pope (Jennifer), Pamela Pope, and Andrew Pope (Brenda); grandchildren, Danielle Wright (Brad), Taylor Wentworth (Jordan), Kaitlyn Pope, Lee Ann Pope, Joseph Pope, Jaxon Pope, expecting Wyatt Pope in November; brothers, Jessie Pope Jr. (Lorraine) and Ralph Pope; furry friend, Gucci.
There will be a visitation with family on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
