Norman David Kallies Sr., age 85, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021, at his home in Stockdale surrounded by his loving family. Norman was born November 23, 1935, in San Antonio. Preceding him in death are his parents, Bird and Clara Rose; first wife, Jane Markgraf Kallies; brother, Carl Kallies; sisters, Joyce Shaver and Sarah Garrahan and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Kallies. Norman is survived by his wife, Mildred Marie Kallies; children, Laurie Draeger (Steve), Janet West (Lynn Ray), Norman “Bub” Kallies Jr. and Kevin Kallies; grandchildren, Calvin Rhoads, Jason Rhoads, Justin West, Erica Mendez, Colton Kallies, Tyler Kallies, Alyssa Martin, Kaylie Bethel, Alec Herkel; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene Gage and Violet Glover; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. The Kallies Family would like to thank Guadalupe Regional Hospice for their compassionate service and care they gave to Norman. A visitation will take place Monday, July 12, 2021, from 5pm to 7pm at Finch Funeral Chapel of Stockdale.

Pastor Kevin Skinner and Chaplain Emanuel Carpenter will officiate at the service. Interment will follow in the Stockdale Cemetery. Those serving as Pallbearers will be Calvin Rhoads, Jason Rhoads, Justin West, Colton Kallies, Tyler Kallies and Alec Herkel; as Honorary Pallbearers, Bubba Ruddock, David Houseton, and Danny Mendez.
