MSG James R. Farmer, U.S. Army (Ret). Passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 75. He was born in Eclectic, Alabama, on October 31, 1947.
James is a Vietnam veteran that proudly served our country in the US Army for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Berthalina Reyes Farmer; children, Annissa Annette Farmer, James Paul Farmer (Candis), Michael Bryan Farmer (Brittany), Danelle Villa; grandchildren, James Tyler Farmer, Cheyanne Marie Farmer, Peyton Kylie Farmer, Kyla Sandoval; sister, Grace McCoy; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Harvey Farmer, and Merle Annette Wilson Farmer, as well as his sisters, Jill Farmer, and Pat Price.
A graveside service will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 10:45 AM.
