Michelle Moy Basham, age 60, of La Vernia, passed away February 1, 2021 at her home in La Vernia. Michelle was born July 23, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas to August Alvin and Evelyn (Gawlik) Moy. She married the love of her life, Michael “Mike” Douglas Basham, on July 23, 1988 in South Padre Island and they were married for over 30 years before his passing in 2019. Michelle is preceded in death by her loving husband, Mike. She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her children, Kristin Bitsis (Chris) and Cody Basham; grandchildren, Evelyn Rose, and Margaret Daelyn Bitsis; parents, August, and Evelyn Moy; brothers, Michael Moy (Patricia) and Mark Moy (Janet); numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family, and many friends. A visitation will take place Friday, February 5, 2021 from 1pm to 2pm at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia. A private service for family only will follow.
