Michael Anthony Maron, formerly of Yorktown, Texas passed on to his heavenly Father on February 21, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 68.

Michael was born on April 19, 1954, to Richard J. Jr. and Emerence Styra Maron in Yorktown, Texas.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting and worked as an accountant in San Antonio. Michael would spend as much time as he could on the farm in the Garfield area. He loved working with the cattle and the standard farming duties. On occasion he would have a little too much fun on his moped and golf cart.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Richard J. Maron Jr. He is survived by his mother, Emerence Styra Maron of San Antonio; brothers, Ricky Maron and wife Rosemary, Mark Maron, and Patrick Maron and wife Becky all of San Antonio; uncle, Clarence Maron and wife Patricia of St. Hedwig; niece; numerous nephews and one great-niece.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, 12:00pm-1:00pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Yorktown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 1:00pm, also at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Yorktown.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery or Donor’s choice.
