Michael Lee Golla, 58, of Floresville, Texas passed to his heavenly home November 3, 2022. Michael was born on December 21, 1963, in San Antonio, Texas to Charles Edward and Barbara (Riggs) Golla.

Michael was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing any time he got the opportunity, and he especially loved sharing his Catholic faith with his friends and family. Michael followed in his fathers’ footsteps as a dedicated employee of CPS Energy for more than 21 years.

Michael is preceded in death by his son, Nathaniel Golla and his mother, Barbara “Blondie” Golla.

Michael will be forever missed and is survived by his loving wife Susan (Winkler) Golla; his children, Michael Golla, Jr. Megan L. Golla, Nicholas James Golla and wife Sara Pezzotta, Travis Shoemake, Tommy Shoemake and wife Melanie, Teresa Blazek and husband Mark; 2 granddaughters; father, Charles E. Golla; brothers, Charles Anthony Golla and wife Cathy, Matthew Golla and wife Colleen; parents-in-law, John & Mary Winkler; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.

Pallbearers for Michael will be David Callaway, Alan Kruciak, Freddy Rutkowski, David Golla, Mark Pendleton, and Chris Bailey.

A visitation will be held at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia, Monday, November 7, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM that same evening.
