Michael Douglas “Mike” Basham, age 57, of La Vernia, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Live Oak. Mike was born January 23, 1962, in Stephenville, Texas to Charles and Rose Arlene (Hall) Basham. He married the love of his life, Michelle W. Moy, on July 23, 1988 in South Padre Island. His father and three brothers, Ricky, Arlie and Lewis Basham, precede him in death. Mike is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Michelle W. Basham; daughter, Kristin Bitsis and husband Chris; son, Cody Basham; granddaughter, Evelyn Rose Bitsis; mother, Arlene Basham; brother, Toby Basham and wife Janice; sisters, Renee Del Bosque and Michelle Basham; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and many friends. A visitation will take place Friday, June 7, 2019 from 1pm to 2pm at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia.
