Marion H. "Spike"  Skrobarczyk
Marion H. “Spike” Skrobarczyk entered into rest on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the age of 91. He was born on April 9, 1924 in Stockdale, Texas to John Paul and Mary Skrobarczyk.
Spike was a devout Catholic, a member of the Knights of Columbus affiliated with St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Kingsville, and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockdale. He was a business owner and a long-time farmer and rancher.
Spike was preceded in death by his parents, John Paul and Mary Skrobarczyk; his daughter, Janice Collins; his siblings Adele Hudek, Gus Skrobarczyk, P.J. “Red” Skrobarczyk, Leon Skrobarczyk, Elizabeth Franz, Helen Pruski, Raymon Skrobarczyk, and Johnny Skrobarczyk.
Marion is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Rose Skrobarczyk; sister, Margaret Lenz; his children, Kathy Zigmond and husband Paul, Donnie Skrobarczyk and wife Susan, Rita Parrish and husband Dwain, Carol Wiley and husband Chuck, son-in-law Joe Collins, and son, Herbie Skrobarczyk; grandchildren, Ann, Karen, Paul, John, Tabitha, Kayla, Blayne, Dillon, Kendall, and Joseph; and ten great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Friday, November 27, 2015, from 5:30pm to 8pm with a Rosary Vigil recited at 6:30pm at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockdale.

10am, Saturday, November 28, 2015
Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, Stockdale

Father Dennis Jarzombek will officiate at the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Zigmond, John Zigmond, Joseph Collins, Kendall Wiley, Blayne Parrish and Dillon Parrish. Interment will follow in the Richter Cemetery, Stockdale. If desired, memorial contributions may be made by way of Mass Intentions.
