Obituary for Maria Luisa "Mary Lou" Guerra (Santos)
Maria Luisa “Mary Lou” Guerra, 65, of Nixon, Texas went home to heaven on July 26, 2021. Maria was born on July 30, 1955, in Smiley, Texas to Torivio and Elvira (Guzman) Santos who precede her in death along with her husband, Jimmy Guerra; sister, Carmen Riojas; and brothers, Pedro Santos and Toribio G. Santos.
Left to cherish her memory are her nieces, Stacy Salazar and Sonya Santos (Randy Barreraz); nephews, Pete Santos, Jr., Michael Santos, Toby Santos IV, and Rodger Santos (Dorsey); grandnieces and nephews, Gavino, Mari Consuelo, Cesare, Gabriella Moniq, Ashley Munoz, and Carlos Munoz; step-children Ricky Guerra, Gloria Guerra (Lee Garza), and Lori Ann Guerra; grandchildren, Whyntir, Cyerra, and Lee Garza, Jr., Ana, Jessica, Stephanie, Erica, and Amy Jiminez; 14 great-grandchildren; and many loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, 5:00pm-8:00pm, with the Rosary at 6:30pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
