Obituary for Lucille Copeland Lester (Alex)
Lucille Copeland Lester, 81 of Gonzales, Texas passed away on August 26, 2020. Lucille was born on October 1, 1938 in DeWitt County to Reinhardt H. Alex and Esther E. (Logeman) Alex who have preceded her in death along with her husbands, Robert D. “Bob” Copeland and J.B. Lester. Lucille is survived by her sons, Gregory Ibrom and Steven Ibrom; daughters, Lennette Conn and Robbie Copeland; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Alex; and a host of family and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020, 12:30pm-1:30pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon, Texas.

Burial will follow at Westhoff Cemetery in Westhoff, Texas. The Reverend Marvin Miles will be officiant of the services. Serving as Pallbearers will be Gregory Ibrom, Steven Ibrom, Dustin Ibrom, Lance Ibrom, John Conn, and Brandt Philippus. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at The Heights of Gonzales for their special care of Lucille. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Smiley, 108 FM 108, Smiley, Texas 78159.
