Louise S. Shelton, 76, of Stockdale, passed away January 21, 2022. She was born May 19, 1945, in Gillett, to the late James Snowden and Rosella Neal. She married Cleveland Shelton Jr. on February 21, 1961, and was married for over 40 years until his passing in 2001.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Walter Ray King Jr.

Louise is survived by her children, Sharon Perry, Boyd Shelton (Pauline), Cleveland Shelton III (Penny), Carl Shelton, Rose Heitkamp, and Carroll Wayne Shelton; sister, Rena White(Charles); grandchildren, Bonnie Fulton, Justin Perry, Megan Alvarez, Frank Gay Jr., Preston Grobe, Jaxson Todd, Abigail Williams, Alisha McPherson, Jasmine Williams; great-grandchildren, Jayden Bateman, LaBashia Bateman, Yazmine Bateman, Kaidyn Alvarez, Hayes Alvarez, Neveah Perry, Jayla Perry, Justin Perry Jr., Javon Perry, and Brandon Taplin.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 28, 2022, from 5pm to 8pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in Stockdale. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 29, 2022, also at Finch Funeral Chapel with Pastor Earnest Powell officiating. Interment will follow at the Lone Star Baptist Cemetery in Gillett, Texas.
