Lorraine C. (Rakowizc) Mueller passed away on November 29, 2015 at the age of 94 years, 6 months, 26 days. She was born on May 3, 1921 to Albin and Ida (Gorzell) Rakowizc in St. Hedwig, Texas. On February 21, 1948, Lorraine married Walter August Mueller in La Vernia, Texas. Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by son, Allen H. Mueller and wife Karen; daughter, Carolyn Holt; grandchildren, Matthew Mueller, Lori Holt, Glenn Holt, and Mark Holt; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Aurelia Caffey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 1:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, TX.

Dr. Robert Palan will be Officiant of the services. Interment will take place at 9:00am Friday, December 4, 2015, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, New Building Fund, P.O. Box 168, La Vernia, Texas 78121.
