Lorene Ellen Lassmann, 87, of Yorktown, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013. She was born August 5, 1925, in Ratclif, DeWitt County, TX, to the late Louis and Edna Sthele Brandt.

Lorene is survived by her sons, Glenn (Olga) Lassmann and David (Gayla) Lassmann; daughters, Barbara (Byron) Cramer, Ruby (Fred) Broll, Patricia Lassmann, and Janet (Warren) Lemke; brother, Louis Brandt; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin H. Lassmann; and two brothers.

Graveside service at 2 PM, Friday, April 26, 2013, at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Yorktown.
