Linda Kay Collins, 71, of Nixon, Texas entered eternal rest on September 12, 2021. Linda was born on September 5, 1950 in Nixon, Texas to Bennie York Sr. and Betty (Barlow) York who precede her in death along with her husband, Elmer Collins, Jr., and daughter, Samantha Kay Collins.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Susan Collins (J. Clark Ward), and Sherry Collins (Mando Cisneros); grandchildren, Kirstin Martinez, Dylan Lopez (Kate Sandoval), Makayla Hidalgo (Justin Gonzales), and Logan Cisneros; step-grandchildren, Megan Cisneros, Cheyenne Cisneros, Taelee Cisneros, and Morgan Ward; siblings, Penny Cardwell, Kathy Barnhill (Marvin), Bennie York Jr. (Tammy), Tina York, Lisa York, James York (Laurie), Jodie York; as well as numerous nieces. nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, 9:00am-10:00am at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon, Texas.
A Memorial service will follow at 10:00am, at Finch Funeral Chapel. Reverend Michael Cowey will be officiant of the services.
