Obituary

Lauriano Medina Jr., lovingly known as “Larry”, passed on from this earth June 19, 2020 in Nixon, Texas where he lived most of his life. Larry was born on January 9, 1948 in Gonzales County, Texas to Lauriano Medina Sr. and Marcella (Longoria) Medina who have preceded him in death along with his beautiful wife, Mary Lou (Rios) Medina and siblings, Manuella Aleman and Robert Medina. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Christine Medina (San Juan Garcia), Rebecca Mejia (Ray), Rachel Garcia (Aaron), Irma Mata (Rob), Melissa Medina, Carlos Medina (Omanda), and Kimberly Medina; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joe Medina (Roseanne), Domingo Medina (Fanny), Susie Medina Rice (George); numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, 5:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon; Rosary at 6:00pm.

A private family burial will be held at a later time. Father Ouseph Kuriakose will be officiant of the services.
