Larry Cisneros, 66, of Nixon, Texas passed away on May 3, 2021 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Larry was born on October 6, 1954 into a large family in Gonzales, Texas to Jose Cisneros and Guadalupe (Bermea) Cisneros. Larry grew up in Nixon, Texas with 5 brothers and 7 sisters, and graduated from Nixon High School. On November 26, 2009 he married his sweetheart, Florencia Hopper.
He is survived by his wife, Florencia Hopper-Cisneros; son, Jacob Cisneros; daughter, Michelle Cisneros; brothers, Israel Cisneros, Raul Cisneros, Oscar Cisneros, and Mando Cisneros; sisters, Elia Perales, Irene Pompa, Mary Schaefer, Yole Martinez, Shuby Dominguez, and Nancy Gerth; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and many friends.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sylvia Cisneros; brother, David Cisneros; and sister, Ora Cevallos.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021, 5:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Nixon, Texas. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Father Ouseph Kuriakose will be officiant of the services.
