On September 11, 2022,Kelsey Racquel Smith passed away peacefully at the age of 18. Kelsey was born on February 21, 2004 in Houston, Texas to Christopher Ryan Smith and Anita Racquel Vidal Smith.

Kelsey is preceded in death by her grandfather, David Rice; great-grandparents, Amador and Anita Vidal; great-grandmother, Tuggie Williams; and great-grandfather, Sam Paul Fitch.

Kelsey’s memory will be cherished by her mother, Anita Smith and fiancé Cody Hitchcock; father, Christopher Smith; brothers Ryan Smith, and Hunter Hitchcock; grandparents, Hector Vidal, Patricia Vidal and Rick Guerra, Doug and Shelly Smith, and Carol Rice; aunts and uncles, Julie Koon (Lance), Hector Vidal, Greg Vidal (Jennifer), Marcus Vidal, Kenny Smith (Krystal), and Joel Smith (Hailey); nephew, Landry Smith; great-grandfather, J.R. Smith; as well as many cousins and other loving family and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, 5:00pm-8:00pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon, Texas.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, 10:00am, also at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon.
