Joslyn Blandford Nowotny of La Vernia, Texas passed into the arms of Jesus on August 21, 2021, at the age of 63 years. She was born August 9, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas to Robert L. and Virginia Arline (Mahavier) Blandford who preceded her in death.

Joslyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, sister, and friend who loved spending time with her family. She was very loved and will be forever missed by her husband of more than 39 years, David Nowotny; children, Jud Nowotny and Amanda Nowotny; sister, Kris Crow (Barry Morrison), brothers, Robert Blandford (Kay), Justin Blandford (Wanda), Russell Blandford (Shannon); grandchildren, Cecily, Rainey, Chloe; numerous, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

Pallbearers for Joslyn will be Will Bob Iams, Caleb Blandford, Jim Center, Randy Stuart, Zane Blandford, Kelly Crow, Casey Crow, Bobby Yeater, and Trenton Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Jarrell Hill, Pat Ivey and Bill New.

There will be a visitation with family and friends Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia.
